Christopher E. Comstock comes to Memorial Sloan Kettering from the University of California, San Diego, where he served for six years as chief of the breast imaging section. He oversaw the section’s conversion to a completely digital program and developed magnetic resonance techniques for breast biopsy. Dr. Comstock is also an examiner for the American Board of Radiology, serves on the American College of Radiology’s committee for ultrasound accreditation, and chairs the institutional participants committee of the American College of Radiology Imaging Network. He received his MD degree in 1990 from Tulane University School of Medicine and completed his residency training at Ochsner Foundation Hospital and a fellowship at the University of Chicago Hospital. He is board certified in diagnostic radiology and breast imaging.
