The Latest Developments in
Ovarian Cancer Research and Treatment
Presented by Drs. Carol Aghajanian, David Solit, Katherine Bell-McGuinn, and Paul Sabbatini
Runtime: 70 minutes

Important advances are being made in the treatment of ovarian cancer, and Memorial Sloan-Kettering has been an integral part of that progress.

We believe that our most significant impact occurs when we can apply our expertise and resources from early on in the cancer treatment program. For women just beginning treatment, our medical oncologists are investigating chemotherapy regimens that include novel drugs and drug combinations. Women who choose to have surgery at Memorial Sloan-Kettering benefit from the excellence and experience of our surgical staff.

For women showing the first signs of recurrent ovarian cancer, our researchers are working to develop better chemotherapy agents, including novel investigational drugs available only through clinical trials at Memorial Sloan-Kettering. We also have experts devoted to the detection and management of rarer ovarian cancers.

In addition, we are committed to clinical research that will improve both survival and quality of life for women with ovarian cancer.
