Click on a question for specific answer.

1. How will I be notified of my acceptance?

Only e-mail acceptances are sent to students. This e-mail communication serves as your official notification of acceptance.

2. What additional documentation is required from me after acceptance?

Instructions regarding additional documentation are included in your acceptance e-mail.  Please read and follow these instructions very carefully. This additional documentation is required in order for you to be allowed to begin your elective.

3. Is there a deadline for accepting the elective spot?

After you receive e-mail notification of your acceptance, you must reply within two weeks to confirm that you will be attending the assigned elective. If we do not receive a response from you, we will assume that you are not interested in the opportunity and will offer your spot to another student.

4. May I request a change to my elective assignment?

No. All assignments are final. Please take time to review the elective descriptions and make your choices carefully.

5. Does Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center provide housing for medical students?

No. Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center is unable to provide housing for medical students. Accepted students will be sent information on housing opportunities. It is recommended that you secure housing as soon as possible, as accommodations can be difficult to find.
