Continuing Education

Some students may wish to continue their education upon completion of our program. For these students, the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center School of Radiation Therapy has been evaluated by the New York Regents National Program on Noncollegiate Sponsored Instruction (PONSI). PONSI is an organization that makes recommendations to help individuals translate noncollegiate learning experiences into college credit. A team of subject matter experts from PONSI have found our courses to be comparable to college instruction.

Descriptions of our courses and the recommended credits are published in PONSI's College Credit Recommendations, which is distributed to colleges and universities nationwide. Academic institutions use the directory as a guide in granting credit to individuals who want to pursue a baccalaureate degree after completing our program. More information about PONSI is available at www.nationalponsi.org.
