The long-term goal of our work is to delineate the critical events underlying cell lineage development, tissue patterning and morphogenesis in the early mammalian embryo. To address these questions we are using tools of mouse functional genomics, including transgenesis and targeted mutagenesis, microarray analysis and optical imaging.
Our areas of interest:
(I) The morphogenesis of the early mammalian embryo.
(II) Embryonic stem and progenitor cells.
(III) The generation of tools and development of methods for in vivo imaging.
