Making an Appointment

You may wish to make a gift to Memorial Sloan-Kettering's lifesaving programs that features periodic payments to you or your loved ones. Or, gifts through wills are an excellent way to leave a legacy of support for critical advances in cancer research and patient care.

Gifts That Give Back

These can help you meet a number of financial goals including planning for retirement, providing for elderly relatives, and funding educational expenses. These gifts can be funded with cash or appreciated securities. Options include gift annuities, the pooled income fund, and charitable remainder trusts. The benefits vary, but all of these arrangements can do the following:

  • provide regular payments for you and/or your spouse or another person
  • reduce your tax bill with a charitable income tax deduction
  • enable you to "unlock" income from highly appreciated but low yielding assets while saving, delaying, or altogether avoiding capital gains tax
  • offer professional investment management
  • save estate and gift taxes

Gifts By Will

Many who are concerned about preserving current income but still want to make a special gift to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center decide to remember us in their wills. In addition, such gifts can reduce estate taxes.

If you would like more information about how to include Memorial Sloan-Kettering in your will or how to make a special gift to the Center that provides you with annual payments, tax savings, and other benefits, please contact us at the address, telephone number, or e-mail address below. We would also appreciate hearing from you if you have already included Memorial Sloan-Kettering in your will or long-range financial plans so we can ensure that your wishes are fulfilled.
