Description:

This elective consists of active laboratory research into the molecular mechanisms of action of morphine, opiates, and the opioid peptides. Studies will include biochemical binding approaches as well as in vivo pharmacology of new opiates synthesized in the laboratory.


Prerequisites Other Than Third Year Rotations:
General laboratory skills with some research experience.
