Summary of Invention
This invention demonstrates analgesic synergy between L-methadone and several mu opioid ligands. The analgesic synergy offers a greater therapeutic range than either drug alone. This technology represents a major step forward in the development of effective pain management by lowering the effective dose of opiates and side effects thereof.
