Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center is an academic medical center dedicated to cancer research, patient care, and education. Our clinical staff, with few exceptions, hold faculty appointments at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University.

With positions for almost 400 residents and clinical fellows and over 300 postdoctoral research fellows, our renowned training programs prepare physicians, scientists, and nurses for leadership roles in the life sciences and medicine -- improving care for cancer patients around the world.

Our affiliation and proximity to NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, The University Hospital of Columbia and Cornell Universities; Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University; Hospital for Special Surgery; and The Rockefeller University allows our students to participate in one of the world's most outstanding medical and scientific community.

    The Infectious Diseases Service provides inpatient and outpatient clinical care for patients at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, fellowship training in infectious diseases, and conducts clinical and basic research in infectious diseases and the immune response to infection.

    The Barbara Ziegler Palliative Care Education Program (ZPEP) is dedicated to the promotion and advancement of pain and palliative care education and research activities.
