Molecular Mechanisms of Drug Resistance in Ovarian Cancer
The laboratory of Clinical Pharmacology has focused its research in the area of ovarian cancer and drug resistance. Ovarian cancer is unique in that newly diagnosed disease is almost uniformly sensitive to chemotherapy yet nearly all patients will eventually succumb to resistant disease. Our focus has been primarily directed at transcriptional and post transcriptional regulation.
