At Memorial Sloan-Kettering, we bring the most advanced and comprehensive proven cancer care to each patient. We do this by bringing together experts in highly specialized areas of cancer care to work as a team. This approach gives each patient the benefit of expertise that is unequaled in depth of experience and skill in treating every aspect and each type of uterine cancer.

Multidisciplinary Team Approach

Memorial Sloan-Kettering has a long-standing multidisciplinary team approach to providing the best possible screening, counseling, and treatment for uterine cancers. Although each of our patients has a primary doctor who coordinates her care, all patients -- regardless of the type of treatment they receive -- are cared for by a team of experts.

The team includes:

  • surgical gynecologic oncologists
  • medical oncologists
  • radiation oncologists
  • general gynecologists
  • radiologists
  • pathologists
  • nurses
  • social workers
  • a psychologist
