We offer the following services at Sleepy Hollow:
- Medical oncology
- Radiation oncology (intensity-modulated radiation therapy [IMRT], image-guided radiation therapy [IGRT])
- Social support services
Physicians at Sleepy Hollow provide medical oncology and radiation oncology services to patients on an outpatient basis. The location is especially convenient for area residents who need daily radiation or frequent chemotherapy. Patients who need surgery or certain specialized diagnostic tests can go to Memorial Sloan-Kettering's main hospital in Manhattan for these procedures and then have their follow-up care and treatment in Sleepy Hollow.
Members of the Sleepy Hollow medical team meet weekly to review and discuss each new patient's case and treatment plan. The team is joined by other specialists who focus on the nonmedical needs of both patients and their caregivers, such as psychosocial support.
Certain clinical trials are also available to patients at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center Sleepy Hollow.
Since 1996, we have provided outpatient care at this satellite facility, which is located on the campus of Phelps Memorial Hospital Center. For more information about Phelps Memorial Hospital, visit their Web site.
