Reiki for Beginners

Type:
Workshop

Summary:

Reiki is a light touch manual therapy from Japan that supports the whole person. For those with medical conditions, Reiki effectively addresses a variety of symptoms thereby improving quality of life. For others, Reiki can promote self awareness, inspire creativity, reduce stress, and create a sense of harmony and well-being.

In this basic class, students learn the history and principles of Reiki, are initiated through four attunements (hands on process from Reiki Instructor), and are taught a full body Reiki treatment. The class includes an experiential component during which students give and receive Reiki treatments. By the course completion, students have the ability and confidence to provide Reiki to others and themselves. Homework is assigned to encourage students' mastery and understanding.
