This fellowship provides extensive experience in body MRI (five months), body CT (four months), and ultrasound (three months), including imaging of chest/abdomen/pelvis/extremities in adult and pediatric patients. Electives in breast imaging, PET/CT, neuroradiology, interventional radiology, and research are also available.

State-of-the-art equipment includes nine multislice CT scanners, seven 1.5-T and one 3.0-T MRI scanners, three PET-CT scanners, and six ultrasound units.

Attendance at and participation in various clinical conferences is encouraged.

On-call responsibilities at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center are shared by radiology residents and fellows (in parallel). Fellows are on call about once every 13-14 days.

Eligibility

US applicants must be board-eligible or board-certified in radiology, as well as have a License to Practice Medicine in New York State before the start of the fellowship. Foreign applicants must obtain ECFMG certification, a clinical visa, and a Limited Permit to Practice Medicine in New York State prior to the fellowship.
