About the Book

The Society of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center is delighted to introduce our first cookbook, Park Avenue Potluck, which will be published by Rizzoli in November 2007. Written by The New York Times food editor Florence Fabricant, this cookbook is a collection of more than 100 recipes from Society members and their families and friends. The book features beautiful photographs as well as tips for entertaining from some of New York's savviest hostesses.

For over 60 years, The Society has been dedicated to supporting patient care, research, and education initiatives through the work of its volunteer and fundraising committees. The publication of Park Avenue Potluck represents the wonderful combined talents of the members of The Society, who share a dedication to Memorial Sloan-Kettering's overall mission of providing the best cancer care. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this book will provide funding for The Society's patient care, research, and education programs at Memorial Sloan-Kettering.
