The Office of Sponsored Projects (OSP) at Memorial Sloan-Kettering manages pre-award administration of research grants and contracts funded by federal, state, and private agencies for staff and trainees.
Our Grants Management Specialists (GMS) are available to assist established investigators, junior faculty, and postdoctoral fellows in identifying funding opportunities and obtaining support for research projects. GMSs will also help with the preparation, review, and submission of applications. Staff work closely with administrators and investigators to ensure that proposals and awards comply both with Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center's policies and procedures and with the funding agency's instructions, guidelines, and regulations.
Our Web site provides up-to-date information about proposal development, including helpful grant-writing tips, forms and instructions, common information needed for grant applications, tools, and other useful links. We also host e-clinics, workshops, and seminars to help you develop grant-writing skills and experience.
And, as funding agencies move from paper to electronic applications, you can find information about eRA, electronic research administration, including Grants.gov and the NIH Commons, here. OSP is currently developing a Web-based system, Grant Central, so that you can track your proposals and awards online, in real time.
Please contact us at the e-mail address below to learn more about extramural funding opportunities and how OSP can help make your research proposals successful. We look forward to working with you.
