While pursuing my studies at West Virginia State University, I had the opportunity to gain minor laboratory experience in the field of genetics. Along with a few courses in this area I knew that this would be something I wanted to continue. My experience so far in this lab has exceeded my expectations. Not only am I constantly learning new information and techniques that will no doubt lead to a brilliant career in genomics, but the overall experience here at Memorial Sloan-Kettering have been wonderful.
