At Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center most of our patients receive chemotherapy and radiation therapy as outpatients. Our facilities are designed to deliver the diagnostic, treatment, and support services needed by patients with cancer, while enabling them to pursue their family, work, and leisure activities as normally as possible.
The diagnostic, treatment, and support services you may need are provided at several Manhattan locations. The majority of outpatient services take place at our Rockefeller Outpatient Pavilion. This clinical facility is located in mid-town Manhattan at 160 East 53rd Street at Third Avenue. This state-of-the-art facility offers medical consultation, diagnostic imaging, chemotherapy, pharmacy services, cancer screening, wellness programs, and integrative medicine services.
While many of our patients receive treatment at our Rockefeller Outpatient Pavilion, there are some exceptions:
- Surgery and radiation therapy take place at our "main" campus on Manhattan's Upper Eastside, 1275 York Avenue, between 67th and 68th Streets.
- Breast cancer patients receive comprehensive prevention, diagnostic, treatment, and support services at the Evelyn H. Lauder Breast Cancer Center, at 300 East 66th Street at Second Avenue.
- The Sidney Kimmel Center for Prostate and Urologic Cancers, at 353 East 68th Street, offers comprehensive, multidisclipinary care of genitourinary cancers.
Suburban Locations
If it is inconvenient for you to travel to Manhattan, we have five regional locations that can provide many of the services you may need. These regional locations enable us to provide expanded, efficient services to our growing number of patients in the wider metropolitan area.
