I have graduated from the University of Bridgeport, Connecticut, with a BS in biology and mathematics in 2002. Currently, I am a fifth-year graduate student at Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences, as a part of BCMB program. Scientifically, I am interested in understanding the big picture of gliomagenesis, e.g. tumor development with respect to its cell-of-origin, contribution of the tumor environment onto gliomagenesis, and the stem-like character of gliomas. Personally, I want to pursue a biomedical career, potentially as a scientist and a doctor. I am also a family girl, married with two children :).
