Free One-Year Membership to the New York Academy of Sciences' Science Alliance Program for All Incoming Postdoctoral Researchers
The Office of Postdoctoral Affairs is pleased to sponsor membership to the New York Academy of Sciences' Science Alliance Program (www.nyas.org/sciencealliance) for one year, for all incoming postdoctoral researchers. The NYAS provides career development programs, scientific seminars, career fairs and workshops to New York City area science trainees with the goal of increasing members' competitiveness in today's job market. Membership enrollment is facilitated by the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs. On a quarterly basis, the Office forwards the names and email addresses of incoming fellows to the NYAS. Membership dues are submitted for these fellows by the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs. The NYAS contacts individual postdocs directly, to complete the membership enrollment process. Memberships may be renewed by postdoctoral researchers after the first year, at a cost of $35/year.
