At Memorial Sloan-Kettering, patients with esophageal cancer are treated by our Upper Gastrointestinal Disease Management Team, which includes more than 15 doctors who specialize in treating esophageal cancer. The team is composed of surgeons, gastroenterologists, radiologists, interventional radiologists, pathologists, medical oncologists, and radiation oncologists.
Because our doctors are also clinical investigators, patients under our care have access to some of the newest approaches and can participate in clinical trials.
