Tutorial for decision curve analysis using Stata
A tutorial for running decision curve analysis using Stata (download PDF) takes the reader step by step through doing a basic decision curve analysis, including formatting the graph, interpreting the results and saving the output. Also included are instructions on: showing net reduction in interventions; evaluation of joint or conditional tests; evaluation of published models; application to censored data, including competing risk.
The zip file contains the data sets and Stata code used in the tutorial (download Decision Curve Analysis Stata tutorial.zip).The four example data sets used are provided as Stata-format data sets [.dta]. The do file containing the code used in the tutorial is also provided [Stata_code_in_tutorial.do]. Well annotated code is also provided for creating decision curves that are corrected for overfit [Stata_code_correction_overfit.do].
