I am interested in applying approaches from tumor immunology towards the setting of bone marrow transplantation. A collaborative effort combining expertise from the laboratories of Dr. Wolchok and Dr. van den Brink, our goal is to develop strategies in mouse models which can be translated into clinical studies. We aim to harnessing the immune system to prevent cancer relapse in bone marrow transplant recipients. Methods we are currently studying include tumor vaccines, cytokines, immune modulating antibodies, and genetically-engineered cellular therapies.
