I am a medical oncology fellow with an interest in developing novel treatment approaches for molecularly-defined subsets of human tumors. My project is focused on understanding the basis for oncogene dependence using EGFR-driven lung adenocarcinoma as a model system. Our approach is to use RNAi-based screens to identify genetic modifiers of response to EGFR kinase inhibitors. Ultimately, the hope is to use this information to design combination strategies that might improve the clinical efficacy of kinase inhibitors.

Outside interests include sports (huge Red Sox fan), running (NYC marathon 2009!), reading and cooking.
