Postdoctoral Fellowship
A postdoctoral research position in Oncologic Molecular Imaging is available immediately in the Grimm Lab at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York, USA. The primary focus of the lab is the development of new multimodality imaging approaches for cancer diagnosis and research. This research also includes understanding relevant biological processes. Clinical translatable research is emphasized.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team / collaborative environment are required. The successful candidate is expected to perform mentored independent research and is encouraged to develop own research ideas (within the scope of the lab's interest) and to participate in seeking funding. Salary is based on the experience of the candidate and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) guidelines.
The research laboratory is located in a newly constructed, state-of-the-art facility in Manhattan's upper east side. MSKCC has a number of core research support facilities, which include small animal imaging, proteomics, cytology, organic synthesis, monoclonal antibodies and gene transfer. MSKCC provides an environment that facilitates collaboration and cross-fertilization from different fields.

Application Requirements
The candidate must have a recent PhD degree in either Biochemistry, Chemistry,
Bioengineering, Material Sciences or related fields relevant to Molecular Imaging. We are
particularly seeking candidates with experience in these areas: liposomes, organic
chemistry, bioconjugation and radiochemistry. A strong biological background is
preferred.
