Once your treatment is completed, you will begin follow-up care to monitor your health. You may also need assistance in dealing with the continuing side effects of treatment and with making changes to your lifestyle to help you stay healthy.

Clinics for Survivors
Our clinics for children and adults who have survived childhood cancers, and adults who survived adult onset cancers

Follow-up care after completing treatment for cancer is an important phase of returning to health. These visits focus on evaluation for cancer recurrence and the ongoing and late effects of cancer and treatment. Follow-up care should also include recommendations for cancer screening, health promotion activities such as smoking cessation and dietary counseling, and the need to follow up with a primary local doctor for routine health care.
