imageWelcome to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center's patient and family education program on breast cancer.

This program is designed for women with a diagnosis of breast cancer as well as those who are still in the diagnostic phase. Women account for 99% of cases of breast cancer; nevertheless, the disease does occur in men.

With the information presented here, we hope to help you understand what is going on in your body, how this disease is diagnosed and characterized, and how you can work with your doctor to plan a course of treatment.
