Driving from Brooklyn and Staten Island

Via the Williamsburg, Manhattan, or Brooklyn Bridges, or the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel:

  • Exit onto the Franklin D. Roosevelt (FDR) Drive, and take the FDR Drive north (uptown).
  • Exit the FDR Drive at 61st Street (left exit). Proceed one block on 61st Street and turn right onto York Avenue. Proceed north for six blocks; the entrance is on your left.

From the Bronx, Westchester, and New England

Via the Robert F. Kennedy (Triborough) Bridge to Manhattan:

  • Exit the bridge onto the Franklin D. Roosevelt (FDR) Drive south (downtown, left exit).
  • Take the FDR Drive south to the 71st Street exit. Proceed one block on 71st Street and turn left onto York Avenue. Proceed south for three blocks; the entrance is on your right.

From Queens and Long Island

Via the Robert F. Kennedy (Triborough) Bridge:

  • Exit the bridge onto the Franklin D. Roosevelt (FDR) Drive south (downtown, left exit).
  • Take the FDR Drive south to the 71st Street exit. Proceed one block on 71st Street and turn left onto York Avenue. Proceed south for three blocks; the entrance is on your right.

Via the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge:

  • Use the upper level of the bridge. Follow the exit ramp to 62nd Street, and then turn right.
  • Proceed east on 62nd Street to York Avenue.
  • Turn left onto York Avenue and proceed north for five blocks; the entrance is on your left.

From Upstate New York

Via the Robert F. Kennedy (Triborough) Bridge:

  • Exit the bridge onto the Franklin D. Roosevelt (FDR) Drive south (downtown, left exit).
  • Take the FDR Drive south to the 71st Street exit. Proceed one block on 71st Street and turn left onto York Avenue. Proceed south for three blocks; the entrance is on your right.

Via the George Washington Bridge:

  • Merge onto I-95 North.
  • Take the Harlem River Drive/Amsterdam Avenue exit.
  • Stay left at the fork in the ramp.
  • Merge onto the Harlem River Drive; proceed south (downtown) on the Drive.
  • Stay straight to go onto the Franklin D. Roosevelt (FDR) Drive south.
  • Take the FDR Drive south to the 71st Street exit. Proceed one block on 71st Street and turn left onto York Avenue. Proceed south for three blocks; the entrance is on your right.

From Northern New Jersey

Via the George Washington Bridge:

  • Merge onto I-95 North.
  • Take the Harlem River Drive/Amsterdam Avenue exit.
  • Keep left at the fork in the ramp.
  • Merge onto the Harlem River Drive; proceed south (downtown) on the Drive.
  • Stay straight to go onto the Franklin D. Roosevelt (FDR) Drive south.
  • Take the FDR Drive south to the 71st Street exit. Proceed one block on 71st Street and turn left onto York Avenue. Proceed south for three blocks; the entrance is on your right.

From Central and Southern New Jersey

Via the Lincoln Tunnel:

  • Turn left onto 42nd Street and right onto Tenth Avenue.
  • Proceed uptown (north) to 65th Street.
  • Turn right onto 65th Street, and proceed crosstown (east) through Central Park to York Avenue.
  • Turn left onto York Avenue and proceed north to 67th Street; the entrance is on your left.

Via the Holland Tunnel:

  • Proceed crosstown (east) on Canal Street to the Franklin D. Roosevelt (FDR) Drive north (uptown).
  • Exit the FDR Drive at 61st Street (left exit).
  • Proceed one block on 61st Street and turn right onto York Avenue.
  • Proceed north for six blocks; the entrance is on your left.

Via Interstate 95:

  • Enter Manhattan via the Lincoln Tunnel.
  • Turn left onto 42nd Street and right onto Tenth Avenue.
  • Proceed uptown (north) to 65th Street.
  • Turn right onto 65th Street, and proceed crosstown (east) through Central Park to York Avenue.

Turn left onto York Avenue and proceed north to 67th Street; the entrance is on your left.
