Ephraim S. Casper
Head, Division of Network Medicine Services, Department of Medicine

My career has focused on the treatment of patients with solid tumors. My specific interest is in the management of patients with cancer of the gastrointestinal tract -- including colorectal, pancreatic, biliary, gastric, and esophageal cancers -- and patients with soft tissue sarcoma. Much of my work has been focused on managing symptoms and improving the quality of life for patients with cancer. This effort includes the development of new models for the delivery of oncology care in a way that provides excellence in settings convenient for patients and their families and friends.

Currently, I head the Division of Network Medicine Services of the Department of Medicine. I am responsible for overseeing the care of medical patients seen in the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Regional Care Network, including our programs in Suffolk, Nassau, and Westchester Counties in New York, and in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. My practice is located at our facility in Basking Ridge.
