Heather J. Landau, MD
I am a medical oncologist and hematologist with a primary interest in hematologic cancers. These include plasma cell disorders such as multiple myeloma, primary systemic amyloidosis, and solitary (bone and soft-tissue) plasmacytoma. My research efforts focus on understanding the biology of these disorders and developing new treatment approaches. Together with my colleagues at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, I am investigating novel transplant and non-transplant treatment strategies and conducting studies with novel agents in combination with standard therapies in order to improve patient outcomes.
