Victoria S. Blinder, MD
I am a board-certified medical oncologist with a practice that is dedicated to the treatment of patients with breast cancer. There are a variety of treatment options available for breast cancer patients, including standard therapies and those available only through clinical trials. I believe that each patient is unique and that the treatment must be tailored for each individual. Decisions about the choice of therapy should be made together by both the patient and the physician.
My main research interest is in quality of life after treatment for breast cancer and in ethnic disparities related to this outcome. I am especially interested in how and when women return to work after their breast cancer treatment is complete. My goal is to understand any problems women may face returning to work and to develop interventions to facilitate transitions back to work.
I speak fluent Spanish and English.
