I am an interventional radiologist with expertise in image-guided oncology procedures including radiofrequency ablation, cryoablation, embolization, and chemoembolization. I use these image guided techniques to treat liver, lung, kidney and soft tissue tumors. My current research is aimed at understanding the biology underlying tumor death following image-guided radiofrequency and cryoablation in order to identify those adjuvant and/or neoadjuvant therapies that improve outcomes in thermal ablation. I have particular interest in percutaneous image guided therapy for sarcomas.
