I am a pediatric oncologist with extensive experience in stem cell transplantation with marrow, cord blood, and peripheral blood stem cells. I treat hematologic malignancies and immunologic disorders in infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. I have directed clinical trials of stem cell transplants from unrelated donors, and I am a former Chair of the Board of Directors of the National Marrow Donor Program. I also conduct clinical trials at Memorial Sloan-Kettering of transplants from HLA-matched or HLA-mismatched family members and unrelated donors for the treatment of leukemia in young adults and children.
