I am a radiologist with expertise in breast imaging. My research involves using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) for the detection of breast cancer. I have also studied the use of MRI for staging breast cancer and for screening women at high risk of the disease. I am interested in developing methods to perform needle biopsies under MRI guidance. My colleagues and I have recently published our work in this area in the American Journal of Roentgenology. I also help train and supervise residents and fellows in interventional breast procedures as well as image interpretation.
