Klaus J. Busam
My research focuses on improvements in the early detection and diagnostic accuracy of neoplastic skin disease, in particular malignant melanoma, and on refinements of prognostic models for patients affected by skin tumors. I also collaborate with various scientists and clinicians studying the biology and genetics of skin cancer with the hope of identifying novel diagnostic markers and/or therapeutic targets.
