I am a Urologic surgeon with expertise in the treatment of cancers involving the urinary tract, including those of the bladder, urethra, kidney, and prostate. My primary areas of clinical interest are:
Conservative therapies and prevention for superficial bladder cancers
Bladder-sparing treatment/surgery for invasive bladder cancer
Urinary reconstruction after cystectomy including continent urethral diversion (neobladders), continent stomal diversions, and ileal conduits
Multimodality treatment for patients with advanced urethral or bladder cancers
Nerve-sparing techniques for both invasive bladder cancer and prostate cancer
Surgical techniques to decrease blood loss with radical prostate surgery
Kidney-sparing surgery for renal cell cancers
