Farhang Rabbani, FRCS(C)
I am a urologic oncologic surgeon specializing in the surgical management of urologic cancers, with a particular interest in prostate and kidney cancer. My main area of surgical expertise is in nerve-sparing radical prostatectomy, including minimally invasive approaches for prostate cancer as well as partial nephrectomy for kidney cancer.
My clinical research involves assessment of outcomes after radical prostatectomy including cancer control, continence, and sexual functioning. I also have an interest in mathematical modeling of surgical outcomes. I have published extensively on prostate and kidney cancer as well as on other urologic cancers, including testis and bladder cancer and sarcomas. In addition, I serve as an editor and reviewer for several national and international urologic journals.
