I am a clinical cardiologist with extensive experience in the care of patients with heart disease, particularly coronary artery disease, heart failure, and those heart diseases related to cancer and its therapy.
I also have expertise in nuclear stress testing for the diagnosis and management of heart disease. My research interests include cancer and the heart, congestive heart failure, heart disease in women, and stress testing.
I am currently the Immediate Past President of the Society of Geriatric Cardiology, an international organization of healthcare providers whose mission is to improve the cardiovascular health of older individuals.
As the Chief of the Cardiology Service at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, my charge is to ensure optimal cardiac care for our patients, on par with the excellence of their cancer care.
