I am a neuroradiologist whose primary clinical interest is in pediatric brain tumor imaging. My daily responsibilities involve reading magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and computed tomography (CT) scans of both adult and pediatric cancer patients to identify progression of disease, therapeutic response, and the presence of many common malignancies. In addition, I perform diagnostic procedures such as myelograms and lumbar punctures that help surgeons and medical oncologists in managing clinical plans for patients with metastatic breast cancer, primary brain tumors, leukemia, and lymphoma. I also specialize in cross-sectional imaging using CT, particularly of lymphoma and leukemia patients. And I oversee the training and education of fellows in both neuroradiology and body imaging. Currently, I am the investigating radiologist for studies to gauge the effectiveness of a combined chemotherapy regimen for metastatic breast cancer, thyroid cancer, and pediatric brain tumors.
