I am a physiatrist who specializes in the evaluation and treatment of cancer patients and survivors with associated physical impairments and/or disabilities. These include musculoskeletal disorders, neuropathy, spinal cord injury, brain injury, bowel and bladder dysfunction, amputation, osteoporosis, and lymphedema. I have specialized training in electrodiagnostic medicine and have clinical and research interests in the use of EMG to aid in the diagnosis of neuromuscular disorders in cancer patients. Treatment is accomplished through a comprehensive approach, utilizing a combination of physical therapies, occupational therapies, assistive devices, medications, and therapeutic injections, with a goal of enhancing patient function and improving quality of life.
