I am a physician-scientist who is skilled and interested in the diagnosis and treatment of various skin conditions, particularly skin cancers and viral-associated dermatoses. My research is focused on the molecular biology and pathogenesis of poxviruses, antipoxvirus drug development, and the potential use of poxviruses as vectors for gene therapy and cancer immunotherapy.
