Tomer T. Levin
I am a psychiatrist and cognitive therapist who has extensive experience working with cancer patients and their families. Clinically, I focus exclusively on helping people with hematological malignancies (such as leukemia and lymphoma) and those undergoing bone marrow transplantation cope better with what is always a difficult situation. I have expertise using both medications (such as antidepressants) and cognitive therapy, a type of psychotherapy that has proven to be useful in people with medical illnesses. My current research concerns the illness burden and quality of life in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL).
