Anuradha Gopalan
I am a surgical pathologist with a special interest in tumors of the prostate, bladder, kidney, and testis. My clinical roles include tumor diagnosis and active participation in patient care as a part of the genitourinary disease management team. My current research efforts as part of Dr. William Gerald's laboratory are focused on investigating specific genes and genetic alterations implicated in the development of prostate cancer. We hope to integrate the understanding gained from this research with clinical and pathologic features of the disease in an effort to improve diagnosis and treatment stratification. I am also involved in ongoing clinicopathologic projects relating to tumors of the urinary bladder and testis.
