I am a radiation oncologist with expertise in the most advanced techniques of radiation treatments. My work involves the use of the most up-to-date technology to deliver precise radiotherapy to patients in order to improve outcomes and minimize toxicities. I have a particular interest in the use of image-guided radiotherapy (IGRT) and brachytherapy (radioactive seed implants) to treat various malignancies. I treat all sites of cancers including prostate, breast, lung, head and neck, brain, gastrointestinal, and gynecologic cancers.
I also have particular interests in the treatment of prostate cancer with external radiation therapy using IMRT (intensity-modulated radiation therapy) as well as the use of prostate implants using real-time treatment planning.
