The Brain Tumor Center was established to foster a new level of collaboration between Memorial Sloan-Kettering's clinical and research arms.

Philip Gutin, Eric Holland, and Lisa DeAngelis lead the BTC, which conducts basic, translational, and clinical research to improve treatment for central nervous system tumors.

Neuro-oncologist Antonio Omuro specializes in treating different types of brain tumors and is currently the principal investigator for a wide range of clinical trials at Memorial Sloan-Kettering.
