I am a physician-scientist with formal training in both clinical radiology and molecular imaging research.

I received my medical degree and doctorate from the Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany. I completed a diagnostic radiology residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School (where I also served as chief resident), as well as subspecialty training in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) at Stanford University. I pursued postdoctoral training at the Center for Molecular Imaging Research at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School (with Ralph Weissleder) and at the Molecular Imaging Program at Stanford (with Sam Gambhir).
