The Biostatistics Service at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center seek applicants for a position in our group. The Service consists currently of more than 30 biostatisticians at various levels of seniority. The responsibilities will involve collaborative work with investigators conducting clinical research on cancer. We seek a candidate who is committed to a career supporting inter-disciplinary research in a medical research environment.
The successful candidate must possess strong technical skills in statistical analysis, excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to present technical material effectively to colleagues in other disciplines, and a strong commitment to understand and contribute to the clinical issues motivating the research. Candidates must have a doctoral degree in biostatistics, statistics, or a related quantitative degree. Candidates with previous experience in a medical research or related setting are encouraged to apply.
