The Biostatistics Service at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center is seeking a doctoral-level biostatistician to join an existing group of 35 biostatisticians (19 faculty and 16 research staff). Departmental members engage in collaborative research with investigators studying the full spectrum of problems in cancer research, and pursue their independent research interests. The current interests of the faculty include methodology for the design and analysis of clinical trials, epidemiologic studies, genomics, statistical genetics, diagnostic test evaluations, survival analysis, computer intensive methods, hierarchical modeling, and Bayesian techniques.
The successful applicant must have a strong commitment to statistical collaborations with medical or basic science investigators, excellent communication skills, and an interest in pursuing collaborative research or independent methodological research.
