Biostatistics: Discussion on Computational Bottlenecks in using R.

Brian Denton will discuss computational bottlenecks in using R.

R is the statistical environment used most frequently for analysis of genomic data. It is flexible and extensible, but it is not always the most efficient in terms of computational speed. He will discuss some computational bottlenecks in R and ways to improve performance.
