Anthony Davis presented a talk on his research in rational drug design of adenylation enzyme inhibitors as novel antibiotics targeting bacterial siderophore biosynthesis. The scientific meeting was complemented by a wide range of activities, including the annual faculty vs. student basketball game and a hotly-contested Tan lab doubles ping pong match!
