The primary focus of the lab is the development of new multimodality imaging approaches for cancer diagnosis and therapy. This research also includes understanding relevant biological processes. Clinical translatable research is emphasized.
The successful candidate is expected to perform mentored independent research and is encouraged to develop own research ideas (within the scope of the lab's interest) and to participate in seeking funding. Salary is based on the experience of the candidate and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center guidelines.
The research laboratory is located in a newly constructed, state-of-the-art facility in Manhattan's upper east side. Memorial Sloan-Kettering has a number of core research support facilities, which include small animal imaging, proteomics, cytology, organic synthesis, monoclonal antibodies and gene transfer. Memorial Sloan-Kettering provides an environment that facilitates collaboration and cross-fertilization from different fields.
